As an indigenous person I believe storytelling is something that is passed on through our Tūpuna, it’s in everything that we are, so for me Editing is just a modern way of keeping those stories alive and passing them on to many generations to come.
My job as an Editor is to be the kaitiaki for the story whether that’s: in Television: Drama, Reality, Factual, Documentary. Social Media Content. Short Film or Feature Documentary. I believe in working collaboratively and helping the team to bring the best out of the footage and making sure we are serving the best possible story for each project.
